SHAINAH Joseph is set to team up with Jaja Santiago after signing with Ageo Medics in the Japan V.Premier League.
After a season with Sta. Lucia in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix that as derailed by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Canadian spiker takes her talents to the Saitama-based squad.
Ageo Medics announced that Joseph will be their second import, playing alongside Santiago, who is playing her third straight season in the club.
The former PSL import posted on Friday about her arrival in Saitama ahead of Ageo Medics' 2020-2021 season debut against Torray Arrows on October 17.
Joseph led the Lady Realtors to a pair of dominant victories over PLDT and Marinerang Pilipina last March before the import-flavored conference was scrapped.
Joseph also led Sta. Lucia to a runner-up finish in a four-team pre-season tournament of the PSL last February behind champion West Japan All-Stars.
The former Florida Gator is expected to be a huge boost for Ageo Medics as they seek to improve on last year's bronze medal finish.
