F2 Logistics star Kianna Dy is super proud to see her boyfriend Marck Espejo living his dream while playing for Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler in Japan's V.Premier League.
“I’m super proud kasi it’s always been his dream to play abroad,” said Dy, who has been in a relationship with Espejo since their UAAP days.
“Ngayon he’s playing for Oita Miyoshi and he’s doing great so nakaka-proud na he’s shining internationally.”
The volleyball couple have been apart for a month now, but Dy said their UAAP days where they played for rival schools - Dy for La Salle and Espejo with Ateneo - prepared them for the anticipated nine-month separation.
“We talk naman everyday, FaceTime every day and I guess nasanay na din kami kasi during college naman we don’t see each other that much din like maybe once a month, twice a month lang,” shared the former Lady Spiker.
“So I think we got used to it already it’s just different na he’s not in the Philippines but you know, ganun talaga buhay.”
“We’re just staying strong charot,” the opposite spiker gushed. “Mabilis lang naman magme-May na so yun.”
Dy is currently focusing on F2's campaign in the 2018 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference. She dropped 11 points in F'2 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 win over Cignal on Tuesday night at the Arena in San Juan City.

But once it’s over, she plans to visit the five-time UAAP MVP in Japan.
“Siguro pag break ng December after All-Filipino, visit him na kasi hindi rin siya makakauwi hanggang May,” she said.
