With the final day also featuring Thailand against Vietnam, Alas Women can finish either in second, third or fourth place.
The Philippines has never finished higher than bronze in the competition. Hence, a silver-medal finish would therefore be its best result in the tournament's seven-year, 11-leg history.

SILVER: Alas Women to beat Indonesia
The simplest route to the Philippines' best-ever SEA V.Cup finish is to beat Indonesia.
A win in either three or four setes gives Alas three more match points, taking it to six. A five-set win gives the Philippines two points and takes it to five.
Regardless of the score, a Philippine victory puts Alas ahead of Indonesia and Vietnam and leaves it behind only Thailand.
Thus, any Philippine victory over Indonesia guarantees silver and would mark the first time the Philippines finishes higher than bronze in the tournament's 11 legs.
BRONZE: Still possible for Alas Women even with a loss
A loss to Indonesia does not automatically knock Alas off the podium.
If the Philippines loses in five sets to Indonesia, it earns one match point and finishes on four. Indonesia moves to five, but Alas Women can still take third if Thailand beats Vietnam or if Vietnam also loses in five sets.
A loss in either three or four sets leaves Alas Women on three points. In those cases, Thailand must beat Vietnam for the Philippines to remain third.
The five-set result is particularly important because a Thailand 2-3 loss gives Vietnam only two additional match points.
