WHO can stop Sandugo-San Sebastian in the Shakey’s V-League Open Conference?

First conference champion Ateneo tries again against the unbeaten Lady Stags as the two teams collide in Friday’s main game of a triple header at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Lady Stags, a 25-8, 25-23, 25-13 winner over Far Eastern University in their last outing, are gunning for their sixth straight win against the Lady Eagles in their 6 p.m. encounter. Two-time MVP Jeng Bualee are again expected to lead the charge for Sandugo after scoring 84 points in the team’s past five games.

Sandugo downed Ateneo, the First Conference champion, in their initial meeting, 27-25, 25-19, 25-20.

The Lady Eagles carry a 2-3 (win-loss) slate.

Military teams Philippine Navy and defending champion Philippine Army battle it out at 4 p.m.

The Lady Sailors (1-4) are raring to get back at the Lady Troopers, the first team to deal them a loss.

But Army (4-1) will prove to be a tough nut to crack for Navy as the Lady Troopers will again rely on national team members Michelle Carolino, who fired 20 points in
their last outing, team captain Cristina Salak, Dahlia Cruz, Patricia Siatan-Torres, Mayeth Carolino, and Rachel Anne Daquis.

Meanwhile, Cagayan (3-2) tangles with winless FEU (0-5) in the curtain raiser at 2 p.m.
