AN early rematch between last year's UAAP finalists ended the same way as La Salle beat Far Eastern University, 29-27, 25-22, 25-23, last Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
No wonder FEU captain Remy Palma urged his teammates to move on from last year's semis loss to the Lady Spikers and start focusing on what she insists is a rosy future awaiting the Lady Tamaraws.
"Nung semis, sila tumalo samin and sila nanalo sa finals, siguro kailangan lang namin ipakita pa kung ano yung meron ng team namin. Ngayon season na 'to, ito na yung chance namin," Palma said.
"Wala na yung season na iyon. Despite nung nangyari nung last season, ito na yung kailangan namin i-focus kasi kung magpapabalik-balik kami, di kami mag-grow, lagi lang kami magre-retain sa dati," she added.

Palma also rued the inability to finish of an FEU team that mostly stayed intact save for the departure of setter Gyzelle Sy, pointing to two blown set points in the first set.
"Pag patapos na biglang magkukulang na sa dulo. Andun na, nakakahabol na kami pero di namin natagalan yun pag-kapit namin," Palma said.
"Yung consistency din, parang buong set andun kami biglang bumibitaw kami sa dulo," he added.
At the end of the day, Palma still sees a silver lining in the defeat and isn't about to lose sleep over one bad game.
"Yung pagkatalo namin sa top team, defending champion, positive pa rin yun. Itong nangyari na to magandang lesson ito."
