    Thai side Supreme deals Rebisco-PSL Manila fourth straight loss in Asian club volleyball

    REBISCO-PSL Manila put up a gallant stand before bowing to Thai club team Supreme Chonburi, 20-25, 12-25, 25-18, 27-25, on Monday at the start of the classification phase in the Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championships in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan.

    Senegalese import Fatou Niane Diouck scored 28 points and Kongyot Ajcharaporn added 14 for Supreme Chonburi.

    Jaja Santiago topscored Rebisco-PSL Manila with 22 points, Jovelyn Gonzaga added 14, while and Aby Marano finished with 13 including three blocks.

    The Manila team can still salvage the fifth place if it wins its last two matches in the competition.
