IN-form ZUS Coffee isn’t getting caught up on making quick strides atop the team standings before the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference qualifying round.
The next stage of the conference will feature a series of knockout matches between the No. 1 and No. 12 seeds, No. 2 and No. 11, No. 3 and No. 10, and so on.
Six winning teams will advance to the best-of-three quarterfinals while the six losing teams will be split in two groups of three in the play-in tournament for the last two playoff spots.

As it stands, the Thunderbelles are sixth in the league with a 4-4 slate and will end prelims play against perennial title protagonists Petro Gazz, Cignal and PLDT.
That’s why the Jerry Yee-led squad is keeping their focus on these tough games at hand, instead of where they’ll end up once the preliminaries are done.
“Sa ngayon, kami, kumbaga, kung ano lang 'yung maipapanalo namin, go lang kami nang go. Wala na muna nu'ng mga proje-projections (sa qualifying round),” said Yee.
“Ang dami pa naming wino-work on sa sarili namin. It's about kung sino 'yung nasa harap namin at kung paano kami mage-execute, kung paano kami magre-respond sa ganung situations.”
In his words, if it’s meant to be, it will be.
“We are never satisfied. Always working to move forward,” Yee said.
“Ganun pa lang kami eh. Kung panalo, o matalo, matututo.”
