THE offseason shuffle continues in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), with college standout Ysa Jimenez joining the rejigged PLDT High Speed Hitters.
PLDT's first player signing of 2023 was announced on Wednesday, just one week after introducing champion tacticians Rald Ricafort and Arnold Laniog as the new men at the helm of the team.

"New year, new member. Let us welcome Ysa Jimenez to our High Speed Hitters family," the club said in a social media post.
Jimenez was part of UST's Cinderella run to the finals in UAAP Season 81 where they ultimately fell short to the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
But unlike her former teammate and current captain Eya Laure who opted to play her final playing year in the UAAP amid PVL offers, the 5-foot-9 opposite hitter has decided to call time on her college career.
After the recently announced departures of club stalwarts Toni Rose Basas, Heather Guino-o, and Eli Soyud, Jimenez will join forces with former Queen Tigress and team skipper Rhea Dimaculangan
As she leaves an injury-plagued collegiate career behind, the newest High Speed Hitter is set to restore the squad's depleted offense and boost its title aspirations in the upcoming season.
