CHOCO Mucho setter Deanna Wong remains one of the country's most popular volleyball players.
Overwhelming fan support through an online poll earned the Flying Titans playmaker the distinction of being the runaway Fan Favorite winner in the first-ever Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards Night on May 28 at Novotel.

In the fan-based awards presented by ArenaPlus, Wong’s solid supporters rallied behind her, amassing 24,000 reactions in the PVL Press Corps’ Facebook page to bury the competition.

Despite being the only non-Creamline player on the shortlist, the setter bested other stars in Jema Galanza (12,000), Alyssa Valdez (10,000), and Bea de Leon (6,400).
Wong’s win came as no surprise with her legion of 866,000 followers on Facebook, 1.4 million followers on Instagram, and 2.4 million followers on TikTok rallying behind her.
Hands-down Game of the Year
Fans also got to decide the Pilipinas Live Game of the Year, as they handed the recognition to the nail-biting All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals Game 2 clash between PLDT and Choco Mucho.
The Flying Titans won the cardiac showdown by a hair 25-15, 12-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13 to secure a semifinals seat last March 20 before a pressure-packed atmosphere at the Philsports Arena.

Highlighted by the exciting faceoff between Choco Mucho’s Sisi Rondina and High Speed Hitters ace Savi Davison, the nerve-wracking match received the most reactions on the PVL Press Corps’ Facebook page during the voting period from May 2 to 16.
The epic five-set duel drew 3,100 Facebook reactions, besting Creamline’s Grand Slam coronation when it survived Cignal in the 2024 Invitational Conference Final (1,200), Petro Gazz’ title-clinching win over the Cool Smashers in the 2024-25 AFC Finals Game 3 and Russian Marina Tushova’s 50-point explosion in Capital1’s quarterfinals defeat to the HD Spikers in the 2024 Reinforced Conference.
Chery Tiggo wins Fair Play award
Meanwhile, Chery Tiggo will be feted with the Fair Play award after being granted the most green cards — a total of six — in the Reinforced and All-Filipino Conferences.

The first-ever pro champions of the league organized by Sports Vision will be recognized for their sportsmanship and high respect for the game. The Crossovers edged Akari by just one green card.
PVL fans will also have the power to choose the Star of the Night, which will be given to the most dazzling player on the red carpet at the formal Awards Night.
The nominee with the most reactions on the PVL PC Facebook page will bag the award.
Note: Numbers and data from Facebook are rounded up once they reach the thousands mark. This will not affect the results, as there are visible discrepancies in the number of votes among the nominees.
