NIÑA Ytang is the first big name to publicly declare her intent to enter the 2026 PVL Draft.
Ytang actually already bared to SPIN.ph her plan to turn pro last week after the University of the Philippines' triumph over Ateneo, when they still had a sliver of hope to reach the Final Four.

She affirmed that future on Wednesday, as the Fighting Maroons’ Final Four bid formally ended, citing that her vision now lies in writing the next chapter of her volleyball career.

“Magpapa-draft na po ako,” she said. “Tuloy-tuloy lang din ‘yung conditioning ko para sa next chapter ng volleyball career ko.”
