ALREADY assured of a semifinal berth, University of Sto. Tomas plays pressure-free but still eager to finish strong in the elimination round of the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference.
UST faces Adamson University on Saturday in San Juan and Far Eastern University on August 25 in Cagayan de Oro.
UST is on top a 5-0 win-loss record, while Adamson is second at 4-0 followed by FEU at 4-1.
Fernandez stressed that although their last two games in the eliminations are practically non-bearing, he wants the team to still play their best.
“So ‘yung complacency, sinasabi nga namin sa kanila, ‘yun ‘yung pinaka kalaban namin dito sa ligang ito,” he said.
So ‘yun ang kailangan namin putulin sa kanila,” he added.
