UNIVERSITY of the Philippines dominated San Sebastian College, 25-15, 25-13, 25-18, to bounce back in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.

Marian Buitre and Lorielyn Bernardo scored 10 points apiece as the Lady Maroons improved to 2-1.

Coming off a tough loss to University of Santo Tomas, UP coach Godfrey Okumu was pleased to see his wards step up.

“As you can see there is something with us today,” he said. “I think we have a better rate in passing than in the other game on Sunday.”

Skipper Ayel Estrañero had eight points for UP, while Isa Molde scored seven markers and had 10 digs.

Joyce Sta. Rita had seven points for SSC, which remained winless in four outings.
