ADAMSON capped its championship run in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Collegiate Conference as two Lady Falcons were crowned as MVPs.
Trisha Genesis was hailed as Conference MVP, while rookie setter Louie Romero earned the Finals MVP crown.
Genesis topped the league scoring with 14.6 points in the five-game elimination round, finished second in attacking with 39.46 percent efficiency and also No.2 in service with 0.81 ace per set.
The Adamson skipper also won the Best Outside Hitter along with Ateneo’s rookie sensation Faith Nisperos, who topped the attacking race with 41.46% efficiency rate, was the 2nd Best Outside Spiker.
Meanwhile, Romero, who delivered the brilliant plays to Adamson all conference long especially, emerged as the top player of the Finals.
Romero, who topped the playmaking race with 6.75 excellent sets per frame, lost to the Lady Eagles’ sophomore setter Jaja Maraguinot, who was hailed as the Best Setter even she finished second in playmaking with 6.39 excellent sets per frame.
Another Adamson rookie was recognized with Lorene Toring being named the Best Middle Blocker along with University of Santo Tomas rookie Imee Hernandez.
Two players from College of Saint Benilde earned individual awards with Klarisa Abriam winning the Best Opposite Spiker, while Arianne Daguil bagging the Best Libero.
