PVL newcomerNXLED has signed Japanese coach Takayuki Minowa for the All-Filipino Conference.
Minowa is the husband of Filipina V.League player Jaja Santiago.

The Chameleons unveiled the final piece to their coaching staff on social media on Saturday morning.
“Bringing in his expertise to the Nxled Chameleons is a multi-titled coach from the Land of the Rising Sun! Welcome to the Nxled Chameleons, Coach Takayuki Minowa,” the club said.
“The arrival of the decorated coach will definitely level up the skills of the Chameleons as he brings in a Japanese system that is proven advantageous in the volleyball world, so don’t be surprised if they take the top teams to the edge this upcoming PVL All-Filipino Conference,” Akari Sports added in its statement.
The 32-year-old tactician served as assistant coach to Santiago's club Saitama Ageo Medics for seven years, topped by the team's 2020-21 Japan V.Cup championship win.

Over a year later, Minowa joined the coaching staff of Japan women's national team which ruled the 2022 AVC Cup for Women.
Minowa had a brief stint with Chinese club Liaoning Huajun which bagged the bronze in the 2023 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship.
NXLED roster for the PVL All-Filipino wars beginning on Oct. 16 has Jho Maraguinot, Judith Abil, Dani Ravena, May Luna, Lycha Ebon, Kamille Cal, Chiara Permentilla, Krich Macaslang, Jannine Navarro, Maji Mangulabnan, Cams Victoria, and Rachel Jorvina.
The club's new coaching staff includes Benok Villegas, Rhenze Hu, and Vilet Ponce De Leon.
