CREAMLINE has parted ways with Chinese coach Huanning Li after it lost its opening-day match, and will bring back Tai Bundit for their Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference title-retention bid.
Li has reportedly been told by team management not to join training anymore after a three-set loss to Petro Gazz on Sunday.
Sources confirmed to Spin.ph that Bundit, who steered the Cool Smashers to two titles last year and remains team consultant, is set to arrive on Monday.
Creamline has been mum on the sacking of its Chinese coach.
Assistant coach Ed Ortega handled the team practice and will call the shots for the Cool Smashers in the match on Wednesday against Pacific Town-Army, which is eyeing its second win.
Alyssa Valdez remains a game-time decision after suffering a left ankle sprain I the opener.
Creamline and Army face off at 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, Petro Gazz guns for its second straight win against debuting BanKo at 5 p.m.
