BRYAN Bagunas led National University (NU) in its domination of winless Arellano University, 25-12, 25-13, 25-20, to bag its third straight win in the men’s division of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Season 2 Collegiate Conference on Thursday at the Arena in San Juan City.

Bagunas, the reigning UAAP Finals Most Valuable Player, unleashed 13 kills to finish with 17 points and also had a great defensive effort with 11 excellent receptions out of 15 attempts in the straight-sets victory.

Besides Bagunas, rookie Angelo Almendres, skipper Francis Saura, and Kim Malabunga delivered 10 points each, while Madz Gampong added seven to help the UAAP champions win their third game in a row to tie idle University of Santo Tomas on top of the standings.

"Mas nakaka-adjust na siguro kami. Marami pa kaming kailangan ayusin, sa totoo lang, pero happy kami kasi nagkakaroon ng experience 'yung mga bata. Nakakapag-gel pa sila,” NU head coach Dante Alinsunurin said.
