ALL eyes were on Sisi Rondina and Savi Davison as the Choco Mucho-PLDT quarterfinals series came to a close in two thrilling games, with Rondina coming out on top.

They went back-and-forth with countless exchanges from spikes to digs and receptions.
Rondina normed 26 points and 15 receptions while Davison racked up 29.5 points and 16 receptions.
One thing they also shared at the end of a grueling playoff duel other than huge numbers in twin five-setters: fatigue.
This conference’s MVP frontrunners didn’t shy away from the fact that the series took a toll on them physically and mentally.
“Kanina, aminado talaga ako, pagod na talaga ako kasi hindi na talaga kaya ng tuhod ko,” Rondina said.
“Pero makikita mo 'yung mga kasama mo, walang bumibitaw at walang bibitaw. Extra motivation sa akin talaga na hindi ko talaga susukuan 'tong mga kasama ko.”

Davison was likewise feeling the same.
“It was actually really heavy, but mind over matter. I didn’t wanna say that out loud before the game," she said.
“The feeling is heavy [and] it does physically take a little more effort. You don’t have any words to describe it.
“I think it’s also kasi the conference was so long and it just boiled down to two, three points in the last two games. It’s something hard to swallow.”
The grind will still continue for both Rondina and Davison in the coming weeks, albeit in different paths.
Rondina and Choco Mucho will gear up for their third semifinals apperance in the last four conferences as Davison prepares to represent the Philippines with PLDT for the first time in the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League next month.
