CHOCO Mucho has only won once against its sister team Creamline over a five-year, 17-game stretch.
Beyond their troubling head-to-head record lies a bigger concern as the Flying Titans absorbed their third defeat in five matches in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Even as their go-to scoring machine Sisi Rondina returned from Alas Pilipinas duty, a stacked frontline featuring the likes of Dindin Manabat, Royse Tubino and Kat Tolentino has yet to hit the right notes as consistently as they’d like.
And Rondina would be the first to admit that Choco Mucho has been a ‘flawed’ team as of late, not only in the face of their champion sisters.
“We know Creamline naman kung paano sila maglaro and kung paano nila ginagalaw ‘yung laro nila,” Rondina said.
“Siyempre kami, alam namin kung ano ‘yung weaknesses namin, alam namin kung ano ‘yung pagkukulang namin, and aminado naman kami na marami talaga kaming lapses.”
Flying Titans crashing down? Nope.
A huge part of what the Flying Titans need to do to turn their fortunes around is to address their lapses from within as the season runs its course.
But the former PVL MVP also acknowledged how the 12-team field will only grow tougher than ever before in the league’s longest conference yet.
“Tatrabahuhin pa rin namin, bilog ‘yung bola. Ang dami talagang nagi-improve na teams and lumalakas talaga ‘yung mga teams ngayon.
Rondina added, “Kami rin, aayusin namin ‘yung mga dapat naming ayusin and mga personal skills namin kung saan kami kailangan magtrabaho.”
Results might not be going their way as much as they’d like, but the Flying Titans won’t be hitting the panic button anytime soon.
“Sabi nga ni coach kanina, nagpapasalamat siya kasi ang dami niyang nakikitang improvements kahit papaano and personally naman, masaya ako kasi nakakabalik na rin paunti-unti,” the Choco Mucho captain said.
