CHERRY Rondina was not pleased at all with her return to indoor volleyball after Bureau of Customs handed the University o Santo Tomas Tigresses their first loss in the Shakey V-League Reinforced conference.
Rondina missed UST's first four games after leading UST to the UAAP beach volleyball title before making her V-League debut against Customs, which, with Alyssa Valdez t the helm, dealt the Tigresses a sound 25-17, 26-24, 25-15 beating.
The UST star is understandably disappointment, more so over her own performance after groping for form in her transformation back to the indoor game.
"Naiirita ako sa sarili ko kasi hindi ko alam paano gumalaw," Rondina said. "Aminado ako, nahirapan ako."

The Compostela native said she only had three practices with the Tigresses prior to their match against BOC, although she managed to score eight markers, including six on attacks.
"Pumipikit na lang ako at hinahanda ko ang sarili ko na, 'Uy may bola, habulin mo,' ayun lang. Ok lang yung kanina pero para sa akin na iirita pa din ako," she added.'
Rondina said his coach Kungfu Reyes has preached patience in the transition.
"Nag-usap naman kami ni coach. Sabi niya, tingnan mo muna, tapos adjust daw ako."
