VISIBLY down after a tough loss to Cignal quashed Choco Mucho’s title aspirations in the PVL Invitational Conference, Sisi Rondina remains optimistic about her new squad’s future.
“Di ko rin alam kung ano nangyari sa amin kanina. Pero team-effort naman yun eh. Maganda dun, pinilit pa rin namin lumaban, and happy pa rin ako because it’s my first conference with them,” she said after the Flying Titans' loss to the HD Spikers on Tuesday kept them out of the PVL playoffs.

In the four games prior, Rondina set the PVL alight with her thunderous attacks and scintillating plays, even dropping back-to-back 28- and 29-point games.
However, Rondina had a rare off-night with 14 points on 11/40 attacks to go along with three blocks in the loss to Cignal that kept Choco Mucho out of the semifinals for a fourth straight conference.
Still, the 26-year-old outside hitter said she is trusting the process.
“Sabi nga namin, malayo pa pero malayo na. So yun 'yung pinanghahawakan namin and back to the drawing board kami.”
“Magtitiwala pa rin kami sa mga coaches namin at sa mga teammates namin,” Rondina added.

Choco Mucho hopes to end their invitational conference run on a high note when it takes on the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the battle for seventh place on Thursday.
