SHOLA Alvarez is on the move — and on the rise — as she joins the Galeries Tower Highrisers alongside ex-Foton spiker France Ronquillo and NU setter Renee Mabilangan for the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season.

Alvarez' management Hustle & Groove announced the move in an Instagram post on Thursday afternoon, followed shortly by the Highrisers' joint confirmation of their triple signings.

"New season, new heights for Shola Alvarez, France Ronquillo & Renee Mabilangan! Welcome to the Galeries Highrisers! We’re thrilled to have you on board bringing your talent and passion to the court," wrote the Highrisers.

Alvarez, the NCAA Season 93 women's volleyball MVP, joined the now-disbanded F2 Logistics Cargo Movers just over a year ago and played two full PVL seasons for the club.
Her final act with F2 Logistics saw her play limited minutes but pitched in more defensive contributions even as a spiker with 15 excellent receptions and five excellent digs on top of four points on three attacks and an ace.
Having played for three PVL clubs, the league veteran will be joined by an up-and-coming ace pair after a one-win campaign in last year's season-ending All-Filipino Conference.
