THE opening for the 13th Season of the Shakey's V-League has been moved a week to May 22.
League commissioner Tony Boy Liao said they needed more time to prepare for the Open Conference, and that the original opening date was also too close to the national elections.
"Dahil kasi sa election, masyadong malapit 'yung May 15 sa election period kaya we decided to move the opening," V-League commissioner Tony Boy Liao told Spin.ph on Thursday afternoon.
Air Force, Kia, Philips Gold, collegiate teams University of the Philippines and National U, provincial teams from Baguio and Iriga will see action in the tournament.
