THE race for the last two berths to the qualifying round in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference is headed for a tense final playdate, with Akari, Creamline, Farm Fresh and Nxled all still in the mix.

Entering Saturday’s triple-header, this is how the upper half of the team standings look like, just below the top two teams in PLDT (7-2) and Cignal (6-2):
- AKARI: 5-3 (15 points)
- NXLED: 5-4 (15 points)
- CREAMLINE: 5-3 (14 points)
- FARM FRESH: 4-4 (14 points)
That leaves the final two qualifying round spots to be decided in two matches: Akari vs Farm Fresh and Creamline vs Cignal.
SPIN.ph lays down the roadmap for each of the last four challengers to reach the qualifying round and avoid the play-in tournament.
AKARI: Win and go in

Akari holds the clearest path of the four contenders.
A victory over Farm Fresh, whether in straight sets, four, or five, sends the Chargers to 6-3 and automatically secures a berth in the qualifying round. If Creamline also wins over Cignal, then both Akari and the Cool Smashers move on after finishing with six wins each.
If Akari wins but Creamline loses, then Nxled takes the other qualifying round spot.
That is because Nxled is already done at 5-4 with 15 points, while a Creamline loss would leave the Cool Smashers at 5-4 as well — either with 14 points if the defeat comes in three or four sets, or 15 points if it comes in five.
In the latter case, Nxled still stays ahead on set ratio.
CREAMLINE: Simple enough, win and advance

Creamline’s situation is also straightforward.
A win over Cignal, regardless of the scoreline, pushes the Cool Smashers to 6-3 and assures them of a Top 4 finish and a place in the qualifying round, no matter what happens in the Akari-Farm Fresh match.
A loss, however, leaves Creamline vulnerable.
If the Cool Smashers lose in three or four sets, they stay at 14 points and can be overtaken. If they lose in five, they improve to 15 points but that still may not be enough if Akari has already won and Nxled remains tied with them on points.
In that specific case, Nxled’s finished set ratio of 20-16, or 1.250, would still be better than Creamline’s projected 19-17, or 1.118, from a five-set loss.
FARM FRESH: Win to advance, as well

Farm Fresh also controls its own fate.
A win over Akari, no matter the margin, clinches a berth for the Foxies in the qualifying round.
If Farm Fresh wins in straight sets or four sets, it climbs to 5-4 with 17 points. That total would be enough to advance regardless of the outcome of Creamline vs Cignal.
If Creamline also wins, then the Cool Smashers claim the other qualifying round slot by moving to 6-3. If Creamline loses, Nxled advances as the other qualifier after finishing ahead of the remaining 5-4 teams on points or set ratio.
If Farm Fresh wins in five sets, the picture changes slightly. The Foxies would move to 16 points, while Akari would also pick up a point in defeat and rise to 16.
In that case, if Creamline loses, Farm Fresh and Akari would both move on, leaving Nxled out.
NXLED: Done playing, but still alive

Nxled no longer has a game left to play, but the Chameleons remain firmly in the hunt.
Locked at 5-4 and 15 points, Nxled’s chances depend entirely on the results of Saturday’s two matches.
Nxled qualifies if Akari beats Farm Fresh and Creamline loses, because Akari would take one spot by improving to 6-3, while Nxled would finish ahead of Creamline for the other berth.
Nxled also advances if Farm Fresh beats Akari in three or four sets and Creamline loses. In that scenario, Farm Fresh rises to 17 points, while Akari stays at 15 and Creamline ends at either 14 or 15. Nxled’s 15 points, plus its better set ratio, would be enough to take the last seat.
The only losing scenario for Nxled with a Creamline defeat is if Farm Fresh beats Akari in five sets. That would give both Farm Fresh and Akari 16 points, enough to bump Nxled out of the Top 4.
