COACH Roger Gorayeb sees no particular advantage for either team as his PLDT Ultra Fast Hitters battle the Army Lady Troopers one last time in the V-League Open Conference finals.

"Equal footing na lang 'yan," said Gorayeb after PLDT evened the best-of-three title series at one match apiece with a four-set win on Sunday.

The Ultra Fast Hitters have gained back the momentum and have raised their head-to-head record this conference 2-1 against the Lady Troopers.

But Gorayeb refuses to see that as an advantage.

“Army is a very strong team, hindi naman namin ngingitian lang ’yan,” said Gorayeb.

“Bihasa na sa laro ang mga 'yan medyo napasarap lang ang series."

League MVP Alyssa Valdez also noted that players in the Army actually serve in the Armed Forces, led by Sergeant Tina Salak, the team captain, and simpl won’t crack under pressure.

“Ang Army nagtatanggol sila in and out of the court, nagtatanggol sila ng bansa so nadadala nila sa game ’yung tapang nila,” said Valdez. “So mahirap talaga silang kalaban.”
