One of Philippine volleyball’s most prolific setters previously took a leave of absence ahead of the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Back in June, she exchanged vows with her longtime partner RJ Villarete in a private wedding ceremony in Lipa, Batangas.
Now 32 years old, Dimaculangan made the tough decision to leave the High Speed Hitters to ‘focus on her family’ as she begins married life.
Bar the recovering Kianna Dy and fellow ace playmaker Kim Fajardo, a fully-fit PLDT side is expected to take flight in the season-opening PVL All-Filipino Conference on Nov. 9.
What’s next for D-Mac?
Nothing is set in stone in terms of the next chapter of her volleyball career, but it is certain that family will always be her utmost priority.

Dimaculangan won four championships with the Petron Blaze Spikers in the now-defunct Philippine Superliga (PSL).
She also copped three PSL best setter citations and the league MVP nod back in their 2018 All-Filipino Conference title run.
