IT wasn’t much, but two points, five digs and two excellent receptions in her return from a long layoff was enough to convince Kungfu Reyes that EJ Laure will soon be back to her lethal form.

Sidelined for two years due to a shoulder injury, Laure returned to action as the Tigressesbeat Lyceum in straight sets in the PVL Collegiate Conference on Sunday in San Juan.

The 5-foot-9 Laure played delivered an ace in the first set and the came up with the match-winning spike off a combination play.

    Reyes said he was pleased.

“Sabi ko nga kay EJ para sa kanya yung PVL and Uni Games namin kasi for two years nagsit out siya,” said Reyes.

Reyes made clear he wants Laure to be back in the Tigresses rotation.

“Pag ready wala nang labasan ulit,” he added.
