PREMIER Volleyball League newcomers Gerflor Defenders on Sunday made their 16-woman roster reveal ahead of the Invitational Conference on June 27.
Gerflor to showcase young guns, veteran core in PVL debut
The newly assembled squad features a mix of league veterans and college standouts, with former Cignal HD Spikers coach Edgar Barroga at the helm.

Manning the frontline for Gerflor are opposite hitters Alyssa Bertolano from UP and former Choco Mucho reserve Shannen Palec.
Also among the new PVL club's attacking assets are former Philippine Superliga (PSL) wingers Carmina Digal and Jannine Navarro, PVL mainstays Justine Dorog and Rapril Aguilar, and former La Salle Lady Spiker Angelei Jingco.
Former Army ace Ivy Perez, returning PVL setter Fhen Emnas, and Arellano's Sarah Verutiao will make the plays.
Net defenders include UP's Ethan Arce and PSL veterans Andrea Marzan, Anne Esguerra, and Ranya Musa, together with liberos Julia Angeles and Pia Sarmiento.

"We are thrilled to finally be a part of the PVL. We have organized and participated in several leagues to qualify for the opportunity to compete in the PVL, which we believe is the most prestigious league in the country," said team manager Jordan Tolentino.
"Being a part of the PVL is already an honor and accomplishment for our volleyball club," he added.
Gerflor has been drawn into Pool A for the preliminary round alongside defending champ Creamline, Chery Tiggo, PLDT, and Akari.
