THE PVL unveiled its new 10th-anniversary logo on Wednesday, marking the start of the countdown to its 10th season on October 10.
The logo is built around strength, depth and stability, with silver representing the league’s growth and depth of talent, while blue reflects the PVL’s identity, unity and continued development.
The milestone season will be the PVL’s sixth as a professional league, following its transition to pro status in 2020.
Before the season officially begins, the PVL Invitational Conference from Aug. 31 to Sept. 8 will serve as the tournament prelude to the 10th-season campaign.
Since turning pro, the PVL has provided a regular platform for the country’s top volleyball players while giving younger talents an avenue to develop and compete at a high level.
The league’s growth has also come alongside volleyball’s increasing popularity in the Philippines, with the PVL establishing a wider following and a more competitive professional environment.
Sports Vision, the league’s organizer, is preparing a season-long celebration for the 10th anniversary, with activities and events lined up around the milestone campaign beginning with the Oct. 10 season opener.
