THE country’s top volleyball players will converge in Ilocos Sur, as the Volleyball All-Star Showcase returns on May 1 at the Candon City Arena.
The event will feature two All-Star Games highlighting standouts from the PVL and Spikers' Turf, bringing together leading players from the women’s and men’s club volleyball scene.
This marks the first All-Star event since 2019 and the first to be staged in the PVL’s professional era, offering fans a rare opportunity to see players from different teams share the court in a single exhibition.
The twin All-Star Games aim to highlight the depth of talent across both leagues while giving supporters in Ilocos Sur a chance to watch many of the country’s top volleyball players in one venue.

Details on how the All-Star selections will be determined, including the voting mechanics and participation of fans and stakeholders, will be announced by the league in due course.
The city recently staged the PBA Season 50 All-Star Weekend earlier this month, further establishing itself as an emerging provincial hub for major local sporting events.
