POCARI Sweat-Air Force snapped BaliPure-NU’s three-game winning run in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference by pulling off a 25-19, 10-25, 25-17, 25-21 victory at Batangas City Sports Coliseum on Sunday.
Former National University star Myla Pablo led the way for the Lady Warriors with a game-high 21 points, from 14 attacks, four blocks and three service aces.
American imports Arielle Love and Madeline Palmer each had 18 and 13 markers for Pocari Sweat-Air Force, which tied its victim at 3-2 (win-loss).
“Nakatsamba lang kami, siguro nagsabay-sabay na magkaroon ng teamwork,” said Pocari Sweat-Air Force coach Jasper Jimenez. “’Yung first set namin maganda ang nilaro, ang pangalawa siguro na-overconfident lang. Buti nakabalik kaagad kami.”
American imports Janisa Johnson and Alexis Matthews finished with 15 and 14 points, respectively, while Alyssa Solomon had 13.
