THE PVL has decided to replay the two matches on opening day of the 2025 Reinforced Conference, which saw all four teams play without an import owing to a snaffu over their international clearance.
ZUS Coffee’s five-set win over Akari and Choco Mucho’s sweep of Capital1 have both been discarded as the teams agreed to a replay "in the spirit of fairness, competitive parity and delivering the best possible experience to our supporters," the PVL said.
These matches will be staged again at a later date and at a venue still to be determined.

The four teams were forced to play without an import in a absence of a clearance from the Philippine National Volleyball Federation.
The missing signatory from the national federation was received at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, roughly nine hours since the conclusion of the opening double-header in Montalban, Rizal.
The PVL also assured that all four competing teams on opening day have agreed to replay the matches.
Discarded results
The Thunderbelles managed to pull through with a 24-26, 25-23, 17-25, 25-24, 15-7 five-set comeback win over the Chargers sans their American import Anna DeBeer.
Six local players hit double figures for ZUS Coffee led by rookie middle blocker Riza Nogales' 15 markers.

Apart from guest import Annie Mitchem, Akari also missed the services of ailing Ivy Lacsina and Kamille Cal in that now-discarded opening loss.
A convincing 33-31, 26-24, 25-23 Flying Titans sweep spoiled Bella Belen's 20-point, 18-dig, 12-reception triple-double in her Capital1 debut.
Now, they'll be hitting reset as Kat Tolentino's 15-point outing in her return to action for Choco Mucho goes for naught.
