THE PVL has shelved the last Luzon stop of its preseason caravan after Tropical Depression Maymay (Kujira) prompted the cancellation of Saturday's PVL on Tour double-header in Santiago City.
The league said the decision to call off the twin bill at the Santiago Sports Arena, featuring ZUS Coffee against PLDT and Creamline versus Capital1, is in the interest of safety amid inclement weather conditions.

While the second Isabela stop will no longer push through, the league assured volleyball fans in Santiago City that the visit has only been postponed.
"The PVL also assured fans that it remains committed to bringing the league to Santiago City during the upcoming PVL All-Filipino Conference," the statement read.
With the cancellation, only two stops remain in this year's PVL on Tour, weather permitting.

The preseason caravan resumes on August 15 at the Kapatagan Gym in Lanao del Norte, where Farm Fresh meets Nxled before PLDT takes on Akari.
The final leg is scheduled on August 22 in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, with Capital1 facing Farm Fresh in the opener before Creamline closes out the exhibition tour against Galeries Tower.
The PVL on Tour serves as the league's preseason buildup to the 2026 Invitational and All-Filipino tilts, taking pro volleyball to fans across the country while clubs continue to fine-tune their rosters ahead of the new season.
