FOUR more quarterfinals seats are still up for grabs when the 2025 PVL on Tour knockout round begins this weekend.

In this stage of the preseason tournament, the bottom four teams from Pool A (Farm Fresh, Petro Gazz, Choco Mucho, and Galeries Tower) will be pegged against their Pool B counterparts (Chery Tiggo, ZUS Coffee, Akari, and Capital1).

There, they will play just one knockout match where a win leads to a playoff spot, while a loss entails elimination.

Following the conclusion of the preliminary round, the four knockout round matchups have been set.

Dasmariñas City will host the first pair of knockout matches on Saturday, featuring the Foxies (A3) vs. winless the Solar Spikers (B6) followed by the Crossovers (B3) against the cellar-dwelling Highrisers (A6).

Three days later, the PVL on Tour heads home to the Philsports Arena in Pasig City with a star-studded twin bill.

The defending champion Angels (A4) take on the retooled Chargers (B5), as the new-and-improved Thunderbelles (B4) face the skidding Flying Titans (A5).

By the end of the two-day knockouts, the final quarterfinal pairings will be determined.

The quarterfinal matches are slated on Aug. 7 and 9, still at the Philsports Arena.

The four winning teams in the quarterfinals won’t just secure semifinals spots, but will also qualify for the 2025 Invitational Conference, where two foreign guest teams will complete the six-team field.

Semis action continues on Aug. 12 before the third-place game and winner-take-all championship game on Aug. 16 — all taking place at the Playtime Filoil Centre in San Juan.
