PVL to bring All-Filipino games to Cebu, Iloilo, Ilocos Sur

IN its longest conference yet, the PVL will bring select game days over the next six months to provinces all over the country.

The league has released the first-round schedule of the six-month long, double-round-robin All-Filipino Conference on its website, spanning from the season-opener on Nov. 9 to Feb. 22, with the tournament expected to run until May next year as part of a restructured calendar aligned with the FIVB's international schedule of play.

A double-header at the Philsports Arena will usher in the 2024-25 season, featuring Galeries Tower and Akari at 4 p.m. followed by a star-studded derby between Choco Mucho and Petro Gazz at 6:30 p.m.

PVL on tour

Back-to-back Antipolo game days are slated shortly after opening week on Nov. 16 and 19.

Day 1 of the PVL’s trip to the Ynares Center brings Invitational Conference runner-up Cignal and Farm Fresh before the marquee matchup of grand slam winner Creamline and Petro Gazz.

New-look ZUS Coffee and Nxled will open Day 2 of the PVL’s Antipolo stop before Galeries Tower and PLDT lock horns.

The league then heads north with its first trip to Ilocos Sur in a year on Nov. 23 as Candon City hosts Petro Gazz vs. Farm Fresh and a rematch of the 2024 Reinforced Conference finals between Creamline and Akari.

Taking flight in the Queen City of the South on Dec. 7 are Nxled and Cignal alongside Capital1 and Galeries Tower.

The league’s out-of-town tour will resume by February as Passi City in Iloilo hosts the first provincial games of 2025 starring PLDT and ZUS Coffee with Chery Tiggo and Choco Mucho.

    The rest of the elimination round will be played at the Philsports Arena, FilOil EcoOil Centre and the Smart Araneta Coliseum where the sought-after sister-team showdown between Creamline and Choco Mucho will take center stage on Dec. 3.
