POCARI Sweat snapped a two-match skid in the Premier Volleyball League, defeating Iriga-Navy, 25-23, 25-20, 25-20, on Sunday at The Arena in San Juan.
Myla Pablo and Del Palomata combined for 27 points for Pocari Sweat, while veteran playmaker Wendy Semana registered 26 of the team's 30 excellent sets in the one-hour and 20-minute match.
The Lady Warriors improved to 6-7 and still has a slim chance for the final four.
Their fate, however, lies on the result of the match between Petro Gazz (7-5) and Adamson-Akari (0-11), which as of posting time is playing.
Team captain Gazielle Bombita and Hezzymie Acuna had eight markers apiece for also ran Iriga-Navy, which dropped to 3-11.
