BATANGAS City — Pocari Sweat routed Adamson-Akari, 25-18, 25-20, 25-23, to end its campaign in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference on Wednesday at Batangas City Coliseum.
Myla Pablo scored 16 points and made 12 digs, while May Ann Pantino chipped in 10 markers for the Lady Warriors, who finished the tournament with a 7-7 win-loss card.
It was a tough conference for Pocari Sweat, missing the semifinals for the first time in club history.
“Noong game pa lang ng Petro Gazz at Ateneo-Motolite tinanggap na namin na hindi na kami aabot sa semis,” said Pablo.
“So sabi namin i-enjoy na lang namin ang natitirang games namin para maganda naman ang standing namin,” she added.
Chiara Permentilla scored 10 points for Adamson-Akari, which remained winless in 13 outings. The Lady Falcons will face Creamline on Saturday to end their campaign.
