Fresh from a 25-20, 25-14, 20-25, 25-19 win against FEU on Tuesday, PNP will again rely on Thai reinforcement Patcharee Sangmuang, who led the way against the Lady Tamaraws with 23 points.
Also expected to deliver fine numbers are Janine Marciano and Frances Molina, who scored 21 and 14 markers, respectively, in the FEU match.
The Lady Sailors, meanwhile, have lost two straight matches, including a three-set defeat to Smart. Now Micmic Laborte and Cecille Cruzada will be eager to tow their team to a win and into the quarterfinals.
Philippine Army takes on lowly Far Eastern University in the 2 p.m. match.
The Lady Troopers now comfortably seated in second spot with a 5-1 win-loss card, while the Lady Tamaraws are winless in six outings.
