PLDT went full throttle in just three sets to dispatch Nxled, 25-17, 25-23, 25-22, for its second win in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena.
Floor defense was key for team captain Kath Arado and the High Speed Hitters as she tallied 29 excellent digs and 12 excellent receptions.

"[There was] just some momentum coming off the last game. Nxled was a challenge but I’m glad that we kind of stuck together.

"We didn’t have the lulls that we did [against Galeries Tower] and we were able to come back even though it was tight," said Savi Davison, who fired a game-high 13 attacks.
Not only did eight High Speed Hitters connive for 43 total attacks in three sets, but Arado taking the lion's share of 54 digs and 29 receptions gave PLDT the cutting edge in defense.
As PLDT rose to its second straight victory, Nxled was sent reeling with back-to-back losses without a single set won.
