PLDT now has a golden ring to it.
The High Speed Hitters are champions at last after turning back a gritty Chery Tiggo fightback, 25-17, 25-17, 19-25, 24-26, 15-8, in the 2025 PVL on Tour finals on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Seven years since the club’s inception, PLDT finally won its first league championship since leaving the defunct Philippine Superliga (PSL) in 2021 with just one bronze medal under its belt.

It also became the fifth team to enter the PVL’s exclusive circle of champions since turning pro four years ago, joining Petro Gazz, Kurashiki Ablaze and the last two teams it beat in the preseason playoffs - Chery Tiggo and Creamline.
Rald Ricafort now holds the distinction of being the only PVL head coach to lead two teams to a championship, having previously won the 2022 Reinforced Conference title with Petro Gazz.

He is also the third head coach to win multiple PVL titles, and first non-Creamline mentor to do so, after Sherwin Meneses with seven and Tai Bundit with three.
