    Player transfers, coaching rigodon usher PVL All-Filipino wars

    PHILIPPINE volleyball's brightest stars return to the court as the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) stages its inaugural All-Filipino Conference on Feb. 4.

    Since the Petro Gazz Angels' successful defense of the PVL Reinforced Conference title last December, most of the league's nine teams have undergone major player and coaching changes to bolster their championship aspirations in 2023.

    Leading the big name changes in the offseason are veterans Dindin Santiago-Manabat re-energizing the Akari Chargers' defense and Myla Pablo boosting the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers' offense.Former Ateneo standouts Mich Morente and Ponggay Gaston have also found new homes with the PLDT High Speed Hitters and Chery Tiggo Crossovers, respectively.

      Multi-titled men's volleyball champion coach and national team tactician Dante Alinsunurin takes the helm of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, replacing Petro Gazz-bound Oliver Almadro.

      Meanwhile, the Angels' title-winning coaching pair of Rald Ricafort and Arnold Laniog will now lead the High Speed Hitters starting this year.
