As she went down, Vander Weide grimaced in pain as she clutched her right knee and ankle.
Moments later, Vander Weide was taken to the dugout on a wheelchair, visibly in tears.
She tried to get back on her feet before entering the locker room but was clearly in discomfort, hopping on her left leg to make her way inside.

The initial prognosis, per the in-game courtside report, is an apparent right ankle sprain, though her availability for the rest of the match remains uncertain.
However, she returned in the fourth set and put the final touches to a Petro Gazz victory that ended Creamline's record of consecutive semifinal appearances at 19.
The former PVL champion led the Angels in scoring during the preliminaries with 167 points (20.88 per game), eighth-best in the league, and ranked third in serving with 0.39 aces per set.
