IMUS CITY — Petro Gazz extended its unbeaten start to seven matches and sent BaliPure to its sixth straight defeat, 25-19, 25-22, 25-18, in the PVL Reinforced Conference on Sunday at the Imus Sports Complex.
Janisa Johnson and Wilma Salas showed the way as expected as the Angels, already assured of a semifinals berth, ran over the Water Defenders.
Coach Arnold Laniog was not entirely pleased with the performance of the Angels, who allowed the Water Defenders to take a 17-13 lead in the second set.
Di pa natin naa-achieve yung target natin, walang time para maging complacent,” he added.
BaliPure is winless in six matches.
