INCOMING Petro Gazz captain Remy Palma couldn't be more thrilled to welcome her 'buddy' MJ Phillips back to the Angels once her Korean V-League (KOVO) stint has wrapped up.
The dynamic defensive pair, who were both part of the Angels' last championship team in the 2022 All-Filipino Conference, will be reunited in a bid to lead Petro Gazz to the Promised Land after two years.

Regardless kung anuman ‘yung pwede naming i-offer na laro, more than du’n is MJ (Phillips) herself, siya mismo ‘yung na-miss ko," said Palma.
"We’re excited and mas maraming pwedeng ma-look forward kung anuman ‘yung marating namin this conference," she added.

'Late' return expected
As her Korea stint comes to a close, Palma bared that Phillips is sure to rejoin the Angels at a later time during the All-Filipino Conference.
She, however, won't be able to play at least the first month of the new PVL season as the Korean V-League doesn't end until April.
Hihintayin namin siya kung kailan man ‘yung day mismo ng pagbalik niya," Palma said.
