The 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference champions welcomed the three new Angels exactly a week before they face rivals and defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers on Saturday at SMART Araneta Coliseum.
After its key players and coaching staff's exodus, team captain Chi Saet remained upbeat about the Angels' chances under new head coach Oliver Almadro.
"Since bago 'yung chances, bagong system din. Merong nabawas pero syempre may bago ring dumating so excited ang team namin for this conference and we will do our best," she said during a press briefing on Saturday.
Gervacio, Guino-o, and Tempiatura are set to reunite with Nicole Tiamzon at Petro Gazz after being teammates in now-defunct Perlas Spikers in 2021.
Gervacio and Guino-o parted ways with their respective clubs F2 Logistics and PLDT after only one full season, while libero Tempiatura will make her comeback after a one-year hiatus.
The new Angels will reinforce the rebuilding Petro Gazz team alongside holdovers Djanel Cheng, Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Rem Palma, MJ Phillips and Cienne Cruz.
