WILMA Salas erupted with 37 points as Petro Gazz downed BanKo, 25-23, 25-11, 22-25, 25-20, to stay unbeaten in six matches in the PVL Reinforced Conference on Wednesday at the Arena in San Juan.

The Cuban import made 35 total 70 attacks as the Angels secured at least a playoff for a semifinal berth.

It was the second most points in a single match in the league behind Kia Bright’s 40 last year. Alyssa Valdez scored 39 in the defunct V-League while she was playing for Bureau of Customs in 2016.

Janisa Johnson added 24 points and made 16 digs and 15 excellent receptions for Petro Gazz.

The Perlas Spikers used an All-Filipino line-up for most of the match but did fine against the Angels, who gave up a set for the first time in six matches.

Bright and Yasemin Yildirim of Turkey played limited minutes

Skipper Nicole Tiamzon led the Perlas Spikers with 20 points and made 17 digs, while Dzi Gervacio had 13 markers, 13 digs and 11 excellent receptions.
