“Coach Koji, as you return home to Japan to be with your family, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude,” the Angels wrote.
“Your decision to pursue new opportunities in your continuing volleyball journey is acknowledged with deep respect. Thank you for the time and dedication you have shared with us.“

A real winning legacy
At the core of Petro Gazz’ parting note was its expression of gratitude for delivering the team’s missing crown jewel: the All-Filipino title that has eluded the franchise for seven years.
“You have been more than just a coach, you have been a mentor, a teacher, and a true inspiration,” the team said.
“We are especially grateful for the legacy you leave behind, having led us to our first-ever All-Filipino Championship in the PVL.”
Tsuzurabara, 60, also led Petro Gazz to the 2024 PNVF Champions League preseason title and the bronze medal in the succeeding 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
He leaves the Angels with 35 wins and 15 losses as head coach.
