COACH Oliver Almadro lauded Grethcel Soltones for her leadership and expects the veteran spiker to continue to her fine play as Petro Gazz eyes the PVL Invitational Conference semifinals.

The 27-year-old Cebuana spiker came up with the important points as Petrio Gazz beat F2 in a three-hour five-set match on Thursday.
The Angels look to clinch a slot in the semifinals when they take on Choco Mucho on Saturday.
Focus will be on Soltones after the 31-point output two days ago, the first 30-point performance in the conference.
But Soltones said setting records is not a priority.
"Hindi ko inexpect 'yung career high ko kasi all I want is for my team to go to the semis, the next round," Soltones said. "Ako kasi, every game or kapag papalapit na 'yung liga, hindi talaga ako na-eexcite. Kumbaga ang naiisip ko lang ay kung paano ako mag-iimprove everyday at paano ko pa malalagpasan 'yung past performances ko."
"Siguro nangibabaw lang 'yung sinabi ko sa sarili ko na 'I want this game' so I need to calm down after every crucial time and sinasabi ko rin sa kanila na 'Ate, hindi bago sa'tin 'to at kayang kaya natin 'to," Soltones explained.
