"Crossing over to greener pastures! For a young middle-blocker like Jaila Atienza, all she needs is a new home to showcase her skills. In Nxled, she will have the opportunity to shine. Welcome to the Nxled Chameleons, Jai," the club wrote on Tuesday afternoon.

Prior to entering the pro ranks, Atienza had a four-season campaign in the UAAP with the University of the Philippines before crossing over to Chery Tiggo in 2022.
Roughly a year later, she was among a handful of Crossovers aces tapped to boost the one-conference stint of their then-sister club Foton.
Under Japanese mentor and concurrent director of volleyball operations Taka Minowa, Atienza and Lacsina look to add new firepower in an Nxled side that had a four-win debut campaign in the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
