Nxled put the finishing touches on its sweeping offseason overhaul by landing no less than three-time PVL MVP Brooke Van Sickle as the newest cornerstone of the two-year-old franchise.
As earlier reported by SPIN.ph, the Chameleons were quick to land Van Sickle’s services, to the point that other interested teams were left without the opportunity to table their offers for the 27-year-old superstar.

BVS’ arrival elevates Nxled into the league’s upper tier, giving the retooled squad a bonafide franchise player who has already established herself as one of the most dominant two-way players in league history since debuting in 2024.
Joining her in the move to the upstart franchise are familiar and equally accomplished faces, led by two-time Finals MVP MJ Phillips, ex-MVP Myla Pablo and last year's 11th overall draft pick and now-champion setter Jules Tolentino.
Together, the quartet restores a significant portion of Petro Gazz’s once-feared championship core under a new banner.
They will now anchor a Chameleons lineup now stacked with former Angels, including Jonah Sabete, Djanel Cheng, Bang Pineda, Nicole Tiamzon, Ranya Musa, AA Adolfo, and Jellie Tempiatura.
Just another way into Nxled-Petro Gazz merger
In effect, the failed Nxled-Petro Gazz merger found a competitive workaround, with the Chameleons emerging as the biggest beneficiary of the Angels’ leave of absence.
What was once a rebuilding side is now suddenly loaded with MVPs, finals heroes, and title-tested veterans.
Completing Nxled's aggressive rejig is a mix of young and veteran talent from across the league bannered by Aby Maraño, Aduke Ogunsanya, and Joyme Cagande.
With Van Sickle headlining the charge, the Chameleons' facelift becomes a clear declaration of intent, as they position themselves as a legitimate title contender heading into the 2026 season.
