THREE of last year’s four lottery teams in Capital1, Farm Fresh and Galeries Tower will be among the first four teams to choose from what is expected to be a stacked player pool for the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft.

But it is Nxled that will have the highest odds of landing the coveted No. 1 pick at 40 percent.

This is by virtue of having the lowest combined ranking from the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference (one-thirds) and the recently-concluded 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference (two-thirds).

The Solar Spikers (30 percent), Foxies (20 percent) and Highrisers (10 percent) follow suit among the lottery teams.

The draft lottery will take place on May 26, 11 days before draft night proper on Jun. 7.

While the drafting order of the first four teams will be determined in the lottery, the rest of the eight teams have already been ranked.

As such, last year’s No. 1 drafting team ZUS Coffee will be the fifth team to make its first-round pick, followed by Cignal (6th), Chery Tiggo (7th), Choco Mucho (8th), PLDT (9th), Akari (10th), Petro Gazz (11th) and Creamline (12th).
